Hello Everyone,

Welcome again to my blog.

We have seen use of few of the important product fields in my previous blog, today we are starting from where we left in that blog and we will continue exploring the use of other important product fields.

Let's start reviewing:

  • Pricing Method - The pricing of the product will be driven via this field. It contains following picklist values:
    • List - If selected, the price will be derived from Price Book Entry associated with the product.
    • Cost - If selected, the price will be derived from Cost record created related to product.
    • Block - If selected, the price on quote line will be derived from the block price records created related to product.
    • Percent Of Total -  If selected, the price will be derived based on the price of other products available in the cart (Subject to Percent Of Total scope).
  • Pricing Method Editable - This field is used to control the behaviour of pricing method field on quote line. If checked, the pricing method field on cart line will be enabled to change and if unchecked, the field will be disabled on cart line.

  • Non Discountable - This field controls whether the product can be discounted on cart line or not. If checked, we will be able to provide the Additional Discount on cart and if unchecked, Additional Discount field will be disabled for the product.

  • Include In Percent Of Total - If checked, the product will be available to contribute its price to the pricing of products having Pricing Method as Percent Of Total.
