Use of Installed Package Setting Fields Part 5 - Salesforce CPQ
Hello Everyone,
Welcome again to my blog.
In my previous blogs, we have seen the usage of different installed package level setting such as 'Line Editor settings', 'Subscription & Renewal settings' & 'Pricing and Calculation settings'.
Today, we will have a look at the fields available under tab 'Additional Settings' in Installed Package setting:
- Triggers Disabled - If checked, then all the Salesforce CPQ triggers available on CPQ objects will be disabled or will not get executed.
- Quantity Scale - Using this setting, we can set the scale of Quantity fields in decimals.
- Sort Products In Memory - If checked, the products will be sorted in memory which will speed up the product search when customer has large price books.
- Multiple Bundles View - Use to configure how the bundles will be visible in configurator when we selected multiple bundles from Product Selection screen.
- Use Global Header Permission - Determines whether the custom permission HideGlobalHeader should be enforced for non-administrative pages.
- Service Region - This will determine from which service region the advance calculation and document generation services are available.
- Enable Product Option Drawer - If checked, the product option drawer will be enabled and we will be able to accommodate several other fields on quote line editor.
- Enable Large Configurations - Check to enable the large configuration in order to avoid the Head Size error while configuration of a bundle.
- Product Results Group Field Name - This field is used to group the product selection screen based on the field of 'Product2' object selected over here.
- Product Description Field - The field selected here will be used to show the description of product from product2 object.
- External Configurator URL - If we wants to use the external configurator for bundle configuration, we can mention the URL of the configurator here.
- Third Party Configurator - Check this checkbox to let system know that we are going to use a third party configurator
- Open Search Filter by Default - If checked, the search filters will be open by default when we lend on the product selection screen.
These were few additional package level fields which can be used to control different features in Salesforce CPQ.
